Privacy and saved trips

You can use the routes and planner without creating an account. This version does not load advertising, analytics, third-party fonts, external map services or booking widgets.

Saving on this device

Choosing “Save on this device” stores your stops, night counts and travel mode in this browser’s local storage. There is one saved trip per browser. It is not automatically synced to another device and does not create an account. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to open it.

Clearing site data in your browser also removes the saved trip.

Trip links

Choosing “Show a link to this trip” puts the stops, order, night counts and travel mode into a page address. Send it only when you want the recipient to see those details. A trip link is not password protected, does not expire automatically and can be forwarded. It contains no name or booking reference unless you add those separately outside this planner.

Visits and ordinary links

Web hosting may record request information such as the requested address, IP address, time and browser information for service operation and security. Trip details included in a requested address can appear in server logs. The hosting service is protected by Cloudflare.

Cloudflare may set necessary security cookies when protecting the site. These are separate from your saved trip. Read Cloudflare’s cookie information for details. Balt.page does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Opening a country-guide or operator link takes you to that website, where its own privacy information applies. Links here do not load those websites’ scripts into this page.

Contact messages

The contact link opens your email app. If you send an email, the address and message you provide are handled to answer the enquiry. For a privacy question, write to contacts@balt.page.
